B&H Freight Line, Inc. was started in 1947 by Kenneth & Doris Swigart. At that time the company consisted of three trucks, two small sheds and three office employees in Harrisonville, Missouri. From these humble beginnings, B&H Freight Line, Inc. has grown into a recognized industry leader with a fleet of over 300 pieces of equipment serving multiple markets across the United States. B&H Freight Line, Inc. was owned and managed by the Swigart family until 1994 when Paul Billings was brought on board to manage and develop the company. 

    In 2005, B&H Freight Line, Inc. established a Freight Management and Logistics division called HB Transportation for handling the needs of shippers who want the skills of a third party to manage all or part of their logistics needs. This includes: Day to Day Shipping, Rate Negotiations, Time Critical, Air Freight, Air Charters, Freight Monitoring, Freight Audit, Bill Pay or anything else a shipper might need.

    Over 60 years of continuous expansion has prepared B&H Freight Line, Inc. to meet the challenges of the future and respond to an ever-changing marketplace. While we are proud of our past accomplishments, we haven't forgotten the cornerstone of our success:
